Gotta Wanna Nedda Getta Hava new slogan!!!!
9 August 2010 in Delicious!I laugh everytime I hear this slogan from an announcer during an ACC basketball game. Several years ago when Bojangles started using the slogan, the announcers struggled a bit, and it was obvious that they were not pleased with having to add the long slogan to their commentary. After seven years the very effective advertising slogan is being replaced with “It’s Bo Time,” a play on the slang phrase “It’s go time,” which usually means “It’s time to start” and “It’s on.”
I love chicken and don’t really care what the slogan is, as long as the food is good. Bojangles’ knows how to cook chicken. My favorite meal is the Chicken Supremes with one side (mashed potatoes). It’s affordable and easy to eat.
During a rare, cool summer evening (upper 80’s), I decided to grab a Supremes meal and head out to Hinson Lake in Rockingham to enjoy to cooler weather and outdoors. Of course I had the camera with me and chose to shoot before and after photos of the meal. Enjoy!

Bojangles’ Famous Chicken ‘n Biscuits is a regional chain of fast food restaurants based in Charlotte, North Carolina, specializing in spicy, “Cajun” fried chicken and buttermilk biscuits. The restaurants, named for the song written by Jerry Jeff Walker, are also known for their distinctive side dishes including dirty rice, Cajun-style pinto beans, and seasoned french fries. Founded in Charlotte, North Carolina, in 1977 by Jack Fulk and Richard Thomas, Bojangles’ grew rapidly to over 200 locations by 1984, only to see its growth rate slow in the early 1990s.
Bojangles’ was the third-fastest-growing chicken chain last year, helped in part by its regional focus, distinctive flavor and spices, and strong breakfast offerings.
I was surprised to learn that the franchise is located in just11 states and Honduras. Yes, Honduras. Not sure why, but they must like chicken there too.
