Old Hickory Steakhouse Restaurant – Nashville TN

17 July 2011 in Delicious!

I have made many trips to Nashville TN, but have never visited Gaylord Opryland™ Resort & Convention Center.   This place was wonderful!   There are plenty of places to find food and entertainment within the complex.  During my visit we had the opportunity to visit Old Hickory Steakhouse Restaurant for lunch.  Since the restaurant is located in one of the climate-controlled signature glass atriums, I chose to sit outside but still inside.

As I write this entry, I keep looking at the photo of the meal that I had trying to remember what it was.   I do remember enjoying most of it.  The green stuff usually remains on the plate.  Upon some research and straining my brain I think this dish was a pork item with a mystery cheese sauce on top, but i have not been able to confirm.  Trust me!  it was delicious!

Although, I do not remember the tasty dish above, I do know that the molten lava cake with icecream and strawberry on whipped cream was awesome!
